Girls' Gymnastics

Girls will be taught progressive skills in tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars and vault. Girls with little or no gymnastics experience should start with Beginner I. Students are evaluated each session for advancement to the next level if all requirements are met. Girls taking classes twice a week tend to progress more quickly than those attending once per week.

Beginner I Girls Gymnastics
For the beginner gymnast with little or no experience.

Beginner II Girls Gymnastics
A continuation of the Beginner I level.
Requirements: cartwheel, bridge, good cast, and vault board rebound.

Intermediate Girls Gymnastics
A continuation of the Beginner II level.
Requirements: backbend down, pullover on bars, confident beam work.

Advanced Girls Gymnastics
A continuation of the Intermediate level. We recommend that girls come twice per week at this level.
Requirements: back hip circle, bridge kickover, round-off, donkey kick on beam.

Pre-Team
This class is a lead-in to our competitive program. Gymnasts must attend Pre-Team class twice per week.

Cheer Basics (first grade and older) 
This class is designed for boys and girls who want to get a glimpse into the world of cheerleading without the commitment of a competitive team.  Tumbling, jumps and stunts will be taught.

Teen Gymnastics
A beginning to intermediate gymnastics class just for teenagers! Skills on all equipment as well as floor will be taught. Class offered as needed.

Home School Fitness (For ages 7 and up)
A beginner to intermediate class just for home schooled students.
Monday 2:00-3:00

Special Olympics Gymnastics (co-ed)
Class for developmentally challenged students ages 8-49.

Boys' Gymnastics

Boys will be taught progressive skills in tumbling, rings, parallel bars, vault, pommel horse, and horizontal bar. Boys with little or no gymnastics experience should start with Young Boys or Beginner Boys Gymnastics. Students are evaluated each session for advancement into the next level if all requirements are met. Boys taking classes twice a week tend to progress more quickly than those attending once per week.

Boys Only! (For ages 4 1/2 - 6)
This is a fun class with No Girls Allowed!  Boys will be introduced to all of the boys equipment including tumbling, vault, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars and high bar.  This class is perfect for beginner and intermediate level boys.

Young Boys (For ages 5½-7)
Basic instruction will be given in all 6 Olympic events. Builds strength and coordination.

Beginner Boys Gymnastics (For ages 7-14)
Progressive skills are taught on all 6 Olympic events. Conditioning and tumble tramp build strength and flexibility.

Totally Tumbling

Level I Tumbling (Boys and Girls 1st Grade and Up)
 A class perfect for students who only want to work on tumbling. This is the place to start if you have little or no experience.

Level II Tumbling (Boys and Girls 1st Grade and Up)
To enroll in this class, students must have a backbend down with no spot.

Level III Tumbling (Boys and Girls 1st Grade and Up)
Students must be able to do a back walkover and have started back handsprings before enrolling in this class.
Wednesday 5:00-6:00

Level IV Tumbling (Boys and Girls 1st Grade and Up)
To enroll in this class, students must have a standing back handspring, round-off two back handsprings and be ready to work on back tucks.

Must have coach approval to enroll in this class.

Birthday Parties

Have Your next Birthday Party at Horizon!

Parties Include gymnastics fun and a decorated party room. Parties can be scheduled on Saturday afternoons at 12:30 PM or 2:30 PM or limited pre-arranged times. Call for details.
