Girls Gymnastics Camp
July 14 - July 17, Monday - Thursday
12:00-3:30 PM
Fee: $65.00
 Girls ages 7-16 are welcome to participate regardless of gymnastics ability. There will be groups for beginners as well as competitive gymnasts. Girls will receive instruction in Vault, Bars, Beam, and Tumbling as well as Tumble-Tramp, Mini-Tramp, Rings, Rhythmic Ribbons, Balls, Hoops and Ropes. Short educational talks will highlight sports nutrition, sport safety and conditioning ideas. We will provide an afternoon snack.



Boys Gymnastics Camp
July 21 - July 24, Monday - Thursday
12:00-3:30 PM
Fee: $60.00
 Boys ages 7-16 are welcome regardless of gymnastics ability. Boys will be coached in all six Olympic events (Tumbling, Vault, Rings, Parallel Bars, Pommel Horse, and Horizontal Bar. We use developmental training techniques which include Tumble-Tramp, age-appropriate circuit conditioning. A healthy afternoon snack will be provided.



Girl Scout Gymnastics Camp
July 28 - July 31, Monday - Thursday
12:30-3:30 PM
$40.00
 This event is sponsored by the Valparaiso/Washington Township Girl Scouts and is open to girls in grade 2-8 (grade as of Fall 2008). Contact your leader for registration forms. Girl Scouts from other areas can pick up a Girl Scout Gymnastics flyer from the Horizon office. Girl Scout memberships are required, but not Horizon membership.






Discovery with Dora & Diego
June 17 - June 19, Tuesday - Thursday
12:30-2:30 PM
Fee: $50.00
Ages: 4-7
 Come explore with Dora, Boots and Diego as we see how Dora lives. During camp, boys and girls will learn basic Spanish for everyday words. Each day the children will help prepare for our fun-filled Fiesta during the last day of camp.



Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry Pie
July 8 - July 10, Tuesday - Thursday
12:30-2:30 PM
Fee: $50.00
Ages: 4-7
 Strawberryland is waiting for you! Come join Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Dumpling, Custard and Pupcake as we visit the enchanting land where it rains and snows berries. We will also visit Cookie Corners, Cakewalk, Orange Blossom acres and the other wonderful places in Strawberry Shortcake's world.



Pirates and Princesses
July 22 - July 24
12:30-2:30 PM
Fee: $50.00
Ages: 4-7
 Let's pretend! Pirates can search for buried treasure and sail on the high seas, while princesses dance at the royal ball and wear elegant tiaras. This camp will help children explore and stretch their imaginations as we search for adventure in far-off castles and pirate ships.



The Magic School Bus

Horizon Gymnastics Center! Join Ms. Frizzie, Lizzie, and the rest of the gang as we travel on the Magic Bus through the world of gymnastics and beyond. Be sure to pack your imagination!
