ABC Magic Nursery School is a unique program for children who are 3, 4 or 5 years old. We offer activities which will help your child to develop as a whole person including:

Sociability by interacting with a peer group as well as adults

Physical Fitness with daily classes in gymnastics, sports skills, movement and dance.

Enhancement of Emotional Growth by becoming more independent, learning about their own feelings, being sensitive to the feelings of others, and developing positive self-esteem.

Academic Readiness to prepare your child for success in Kindergarten. Activities will include colors, shapes, the wonders of science, numbers, alphabet skills, rhyming, seasonal changes, address and phone number, music, art and other age-appropriate adventures.

ABC Magic Nursery School is directed by Linda Dickinson who has a Master's Degree in Education from Indiana State University. She began her teaching career as an elementary school teacher for eight years. She has been involved with preschool education since 1989 and is highly regarded by both students and parents. Mrs. Dickinson's family resides in Washington Township.

Laura Jankowske teaches the Tuesday afternoon class. Miss Laura has been teaching gymnastics at Horizon Gymnastics Center for 10 years. After graduating from Valparaiso High School, she attended Valparaiso Univeristy, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Miss Laura now divides her day between the ABC Magic classroom and the gym.

Students receive a half hour gymnastics class and two hours in the class room each day. Class size is small so that each child receives individual attention.
